Automatic packaging machine for liquid foodstuff in small bottles, designed for dosing milk, drinking yoghurt, juices and similar products. The Performance is a compact, high-performance machine for plastic bottles with volumes from 50 to 500 ml. Available in different versions, it reaches capacities from 2000 to 8000 bottles/hour depending on the configuration, product and packaging; size changeover takes just a few minutes.
Machine type
The Performance is an automatic packaging machine for liquid foodstuff in small bottles: the packaging cycle runs without manual intervention and the operator simply supervises and controls production through the PLC.
It is suitable for packaging milk, drinking yoghurt, juices and similar products, in plastic bottles.
Being an automatic machine, it can be connected to the customer’s existing plant for loading the bottles.
Features
The Performance works in 4 stages, carried out in sequence within the same machine: container loading, dosing, capping and unloading.
Container loading
Bottles are loaded automatically from the dedicated conveyor belt or pneumatic conveyor at the inlet.
Dosing
Main product dosing ranges from 50 to 500 ml, for a wide range of products, in plastic bottles; size changeover takes just a few minutes. Hourly capacity ranges from 2000 to 8000 bottles/hour, depending on the version (actual capacity depends on the characteristics of the product and packaging).
Dosing is carried out by a series of electronic flow meters with membrane valves, for maximum precision and hygiene. The system is complete with an isobaric product hopper with level probes and process valves, and uses continuous-level technology.
Capping
The capping carousel can be equipped with a vibrating orientator to automatically sort a large quantity of caps, with chute and positioner, and with a set of screwing spindles specifically designed for each individual cap.
Alternatively, or in addition, it can be equipped with a “cut, form and weld” device, made up of an automatic die cutter, a pneumatic conveyor for the aluminium lids, a positioning head and a set of welding heads. The device that works from a coil is designed and manufactured by Pasin SRL.
Unloading
Packaged bottles are unloaded onto a conveyor belt.
Cleaning solutions
The Performance has a complete cleaning and sterilisation system, with CIP and SIP.
CIP (cleaning in place): all parts in contact with food can be CIP-cleaned, and the recirculation system, of new design, ensures maximum simplicity and efficiency. The PLC has an automatic washing programme already installed, which can be modified according to the customer’s needs.
SIP (sterilisation in place): before production, the entire dosing system is sterilised with steam. The device is equipped with filters, pressure gauges, valves and everything needed for perfect sterilisation.
A washing tank for the parts in contact with the product is available as an option; it can be used as a small recirculation circuit or to connect the machine to the customer’s CIP.
Industry 4.0
The machine is managed by a touch-screen PLC, which makes the entire machine Industry 4.0 certifiable. Remote support is included.
High Clean
High Clean solutions are available as options for more hygienic packaging: a HEPA filter, which injects sterile air and creates a sanitised environment, and a UV-C lamp for sterilising the packaging materials.
Accessories and options available

- Rotating table in stainless steel for bottle accumulation;
- Inkjet date coder installed on the conveyor belt, for printing expiry date, lot and more, complete with its own programming software;
- UV-C lamp for sterilising the packaging materials.
What is it suitable for?
The Performance is recommended for medium-scale production, up to approximately 8000 bottles per hour, in dairies and food companies that want to package milk and other liquid foods in bottles.
It is a compact, solid and easy-to-use machine, with size changeover in a few minutes.
