Automatic linear bottling machine for large-format bottles and flagons, designed for packaging liquid food products in 2 to 10 litre containers. The Dama 1000 suits milk, drinking yoghurt, juices, egg products, still drinks and similar products in plastic containers. With a capacity of about 10,000 litres/hour, it integrates automatic loading, dosing and capping, with a touch-screen PLC that makes it Industry 4.0 certifiable and remote support included.
Machine type
The Dama 1000 is an automatic packaging machine for liquid foodstuff in flagons and large-format bottles: the packaging cycle runs without manual intervention and the operator simply supervises and controls production through the PLC.
It is suitable for packaging milk, drinking yoghurt, juices, egg products, still drinks and similar products, in large-format plastic flagons and bottles.
Being an automatic machine, it can be connected to the customer’s existing plant for loading the flagons.
Features
The Dama 1000 works in 4 stages, carried out in sequence within the same machine: container loading, dosing, capping and unloading.
Container loading
The flagons are loaded automatically from the dedicated conveyor belt at the inlet.
Dosing
Main product dosing ranges from 2 to 10 litres, for a wide range of products, in large-format plastic flagons and bottles; size changeover takes just a few minutes. Hourly capacity is approximately 10,000 litres/hour (actual capacity depends on the characteristics of the product and packaging).
Dosing is carried out by electronic flow meters with membrane valves, for maximum dosing speed and precision. The system is complete with an isobaric product hopper with level probes and process valves.
Capping
The capping carousel is equipped with a vibrating orientator, to automatically sort a large quantity of caps, plus a chute and cap positioner.
A dedicated screwing spindle, specifically designed for each individual cap, ensures correct screwing.
Unloading
The flagons are unloaded onto a conveyor belt.
Cleaning solutions
The Dama 1000 has a complete cleaning and sterilisation system, with CIP and SIP.
CIP (cleaning in place): all parts in contact with food can be CIP-cleaned, and the recirculation system, of new design, ensures maximum simplicity and efficiency. The PLC has an automatic washing programme already installed, which can be modified according to the customer’s needs.
SIP (sterilisation in place): before production, the entire dosing system is sterilised with steam. The device is equipped with filters, pressure gauges, valves and everything needed for perfect sterilisation.
Industry 4.0
The machine is managed by a touch-screen PLC, which makes the entire machine Industry 4.0 certifiable. Remote support is included.
High Clean and Extended Shelf Life
For ESL (Extended Shelf Life) products, High Clean packaging is available as an option. It includes an H14 HEPA filter (filtration efficiency 99.995%) for sterile air injection inside the machine, flagon sterilisation with hydrogen peroxide injection and activation with heated air, and a UV-C lamp applied to the cap positioner chute.
Accessories and options available
- ESL packaging (High Clean): H14 HEPA filter, flagon sterilisation with hydrogen peroxide and UV-C lamp;
- Aluminium-lid capper: the lids are obtained fully automatically from an aluminium coil, with a device designed and manufactured by Pasin SRL, and a bronze welding head ensures correct sealing;
- Rotating table in stainless steel for bottle accumulation;
- Labelling machine: automatic labeller for self-adhesive labels applied to the body of the bottle;
- Inkjet date coder installed on the conveyor belt, for printing expiry date, lot and more, complete with its own programming software.
What is it suitable for?
The Dama 1000 is recommended for medium-scale production, up to approximately 10,000 litres per hour, in dairies and food companies that want to package milk and other liquid foods in large-format bottles and flagons.
It is a compact, solid and easy-to-use machine, with size changeover in a few minutes.
