Automatic packaging machine for semi-dense food products in large-format buckets, designed for packaging yoghurt, sauces and similar products. The Bucket 1500 can also dose products containing pieces or particles in suspension, with doses from 500 to 5000 g in plastic buckets. With a capacity of approximately 1500 buckets/hour, it can be extensively customised to specific packaging needs; size changeover takes just a few minutes.
Machine type
The Bucket 1500 is an automatic packaging machine for semi-dense foodstuff in large-format buckets: the packaging cycle runs without manual intervention and the operator simply supervises and controls production through the PLC.
It is suitable for packaging yoghurt, sauces and similar products, in large-format plastic buckets.
Being an automatic machine, it can be connected to the customer’s existing plant for loading the buckets.
Features
The Bucket 1500 works in 4 stages, carried out in sequence within the same machine: container loading, dosing, capping and unloading.
Container loading
Buckets are loaded automatically from the dedicated conveyor belt.
Dosing
Main product dosing ranges from 500 to 5000 g, for a wide range of products, in large-format plastic buckets; size changeover takes just a few minutes. Hourly capacity is approximately 1500 buckets/hour (actual capacity depends on the characteristics of the product and packaging).
It allows dosing of products with pieces or particles in suspension. The dosing unit is complete with a bucket presence sensor, a product hopper and process valves.
Capping
The bucket can be closed with a preformed heat-sealed lid, with aluminium or film from a coil and/or with a pressure plastic lid.
Application and closure are fully automatic. The device that works from a coil is designed and manufactured by Pasin SRL.
Unloading
Buckets are unloaded onto the dedicated conveyor belt.
Cleaning solutions
The Bucket 1500 has a complete cleaning and sterilisation system, with CIP and SIP.
CIP (cleaning in place): all parts in contact with food can be CIP-cleaned, and the recirculation system, of new design, ensures maximum simplicity and efficiency. The PLC has an automatic washing programme already installed, which can be modified according to the customer’s needs.
SIP (sterilisation in place): before production, the entire dosing system is sterilised with steam. The device is equipped with filters, pressure gauges, valves and everything needed for perfect sterilisation.
A washing tank for the parts in contact with the product is available as an option; it can be used as a small recirculation circuit or to connect the machine to the customer’s CIP.
Industry 4.0
The PLC is also available in a touch-screen version, which makes the entire machine Industry 4.0 certifiable.
High Clean
High Clean solutions are available as options for more hygienic packaging: a HEPA filter, which injects sterile air and creates a sanitised environment, and a UV-C lamp for sterilising the packaging materials.
Accessories and options available
- Date printer: expiry date and/or production batch stamped on the bucket lid with an indelible-ink stamper;
- UV-C lamp for sterilising the packaging materials;
- Washing tank for the parts in contact with the product, which can be used as a small recirculation circuit or for connection to the customer’s CIP;
- Rotating table in stainless steel for collecting filled buckets;
- HEPA filter to inject sterile air and create a sanitised environment.
What is it suitable for?
The Bucket 1500 is recommended for small to medium-scale production, up to approximately 1500 buckets per hour, in dairies and food companies that want to package yoghurt, sauces and other semi-dense products in large-format buckets.
It is a compact, solid and easy-to-use machine, with size changeover in a few minutes.
