Semi-automatic multipurpose packaging machine for bottles and jars, designed for packaging liquid, semi-liquid and semi-dense food products. The Easy 500 SCB is an economical, reliable and highly customisable machine for plastic or glass containers with doses from 50 to 1000 g. With a capacity of approximately 500 bottles/hour or 900 jars/hour, it is designed for small production runs; switching from bottles to jars is quick and easy.
Machine type
The Easy 500 SCB is a semi-automatic packaging machine multipurpose, for bottles and jars: the operator loads and unloads the bottles and jars on the rotary table, while the machine carries out dosing and, fully automatically, the application and closure of the cap.
It is suitable for packaging milk, drinking yoghurt, juices, egg products and still drinks (in bottles), as well as yoghurt, sauces, jams and similar products (in jars), in plastic and/or glass bottles and jars.
Features
The Easy 500 SCB works in 4 stages, some carried out by the operator and others fully automatic: container loading, dosing, capping and unloading.
Container loading
Bottles and jars are loaded by the operator into the housings of the rotary table.
Dosing
Main product dosing ranges from 50 to 1000 g, for a wide range of products, in plastic and/or glass bottles and jars; size changeover is very easy, even from bottles to jars, and is not needed for bottles with the same neck and cap. Hourly capacity is approximately 500 bottles/hour or 900 jars/hour (actual capacity depends on the characteristics of the product and packaging).
It also allows dosing of fruit pieces. Dosing is carried out with volumetric piston dosers, complete with a container presence sensor. The doser can be connected directly to the customer’s product tank.
Capping
Jars: cap application and closure are fully automatic; the machine can be equipped with an automatic sorter for both plastic screw caps and twist-off caps.
Bottles: many capping options are possible, with a preformed lid or a lid from a coil, a pressure plastic cap, a screw cap or twist-off cap; application and closure are fully automatic. The device that works from a coil is designed and manufactured by Pasin SRL.
Unloading
Bottles and jars are unloaded by the operator from the rotary table.
Cleaning solutions
At the end of production, the washing cycle of all parts in contact with the product is automatic.
Industry 4.0
The PLC is also available in a touch-screen version, which makes the entire machine Industry 4.0 certifiable.
Accessories and options available
- Date printer: expiry date and/or production batch stamped on the cap or lid with an indelible-ink stamper;
- Minifiller for fruit puree, to obtain a “double-flavour” jar; suitable for very viscous products and/or products with pieces, product hopper included;
- Rinsing system for bottles, available with sterile-water rinsing or steam disinfection;
- UV-C lamp for sterilising the packaging materials;
- Labelling machine available for the bottle/jar body and/or the warranty seal;
- Automatic cap sorter for screw or twist-off caps.
What is it suitable for?
The Easy 500 SCB is recommended for small-scale production, up to approximately 900 jars per hour, in dairies and food companies that want to package both liquids in bottles and semi-dense products in jars with a single machine.
It is a compact, practical and economical machine, simple to use.
